Visitors tour show home at Champagne launch of new development in Wilmslow

House-hunters can now look around a new five-bedroom detached show home at Jones Homes’ Sunfield development in Wilmslow after it was officially launched at the weekend (Fri 19 to Sun 21 January).

Those who attended the launch weekend were given a tour of the fully furnished Latchford II property at the site off Coppice Way.

The event kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially unveil the show home and view home – a completed property that gives potential buyers the chance to look around a finished home, but without the décor and furnishings found in a show home.

Simon Whalley, Sales Director of Jones Homes North West, said: “Sunfield is a flagship development of luxury homes in a highly desirable location and there was a great deal of interest from buyers prior to the launch. The weekend was very successful as we not only saw strong visitor numbers across the three days but also took four reservations from customers over the course of the weekend.”

“Seeing a show home is inspiring as it allows people to imagine what the space would be like to live in. It is especially useful for those interested in buying that particular house type but it also showcases the high specification and quality finish found across all homes at the development. Visitors also find looking around a view home beneficial as it’s an opportunity to clearly see the quality, space and structure of a finished property.”

Every home at Sunfield will be fitted with an air source heat pump (ASHP) and a representative from ASHP manufacturer Vaillant was on hand to answer visitors’ questions about the sustainable heating method.

An advisor from Pioneer Mortgages also attended the event to talk about mortgages and the best rates currently available.

And there was an Agency Assist stand where a Jones Homes advisor explained to visitors all about the homebuilder’s scheme to help people sell their old home. The scheme gives buyers up to £3,000 towards estate agency fees for the sale of their old property.

Simon added: “The launch was a fantastic chance for people to find out so much more about Sunfield, Jones Homes, and the quality and sustainability of the homes we build. And visitors enjoyed joining us in some Champagne and canapes to celebrate the occasion.”

Sunfield is a development of two, three, four, and five-bedroom homes. These include 122 houses for private sale and 53 affordable homes for local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.

The development will feature green open space, ponds, and a children’s play area.

A selection of three and five-bedroom properties are currently available, with prices starting from £399,950. To find out more about Sunfield, visit jones-homes.co.uk/sunfield
