Construction progresses at Jones Homes development in Treeton

Work is progressing apace at a new development in the South Yorkshire village of Treeton, where 40 per cent of the homes being built for private sale have now been completed.

Jones Homes has finished construction on 28 out of the 71 private properties being delivered at Beaumont Grange, which includes a range of three, four and five-bedroom house designs.

Situated off Wood Lane, Beaumont Grange will eventually comprise 94 new homes, including 23 affordable properties for rent or shared ownership.

With 28 homes now occupied and a further six reserved or exchanged at Beaumont Grange, Jones Homes is preparing to release more houses onto the market later this year.

The new releases will include The Bentley and Banbury house types, which are both four-bedroom detached properties.

Jayne Swift, Sales and Marketing Director for Jones Homes Yorkshire, said: “Since construction work began in the summer of 2019, we have been making excellent progress at Beaumont Grange and are delighted with the interest we have received.

“We have a proud history of bringing high-quality new homes to Treeton, where we first started building in 1999. Beaumont Grange officially marks our fourth development in the village.

“With its enviable rural setting and excellent transport links, the development is attracting a wide range of buyers. We’ve seen a lot of interest from growing families in particular, which is largely down to the exceptional quality of schools in the area.

“We welcomed our first residents to the development last September and a lovely community has already started to form. This will continue to thrive as we release more properties onto the market and more buyers move into the new homes.”

As part of the planning agreement for the development, Jones Homes is contributing £34,000 towards affordable housing in the area, £165,000 for education and £47,000 towards sustainable travel.

Jones Homes has already contributed in the region of £275,000 to Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council through a Community Infrastructure Levy to fund local infrastructure improvements.

Jones Homes previously built new homes at Beaumont Park, Arundel Park and Wood Lane in Treeton, and will have delivered more than 480 new homes in the village when construction finishes at Beaumont Grange.

There is currently a pair of three-bedroom Baycliffe house types ready to purchase at Beaumont Grange, with prices starting at £271,995, along with a four-bedroom detached Bentley home priced at £439,995.
