Jones Homes launches new 100-home development in Maltby
Jones Homes welcomed house-hunters to an exclusive launch of its much-anticipated Lambcote Meadows development in Maltby.
The event, which took place on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 July, was open to people who had registered their interest in the development.
Jones Homes, which is building 100 new homes on a 12-acre site off Grange Lane in the town, held the event at Hellaby Hall Hotel, in Hellaby, between Maltby and Bramley.
Following the launch, the development is now being marketed from the company’s sales office at its Van Dyk Village site in Clowne until the sales office at Lambcote Meadows opens in September.
Jayne Swift, Sales and Marketing Director for Jones Homes Yorkshire, said: “It was great to be able to meet customers face to face and chat to them about the exciting new homes we are delivering at Lambcote Meadows.
“There had been an amazing response to our plans to build here with almost 1,000 people initially registering their interest in this collection of superb three, four and five-bedroom properties. We think that this incredible level of demand is due in no small part to our reputation for producing stylish, high-quality homes.
“On the well-attended launch days, in the sumptuous surroundings of the elegant Hellaby Hall, we were able to showcase the first properties on release for reservation. They include a choice of three and four-bedroom houses, with prices starting from £259,995.
“Construction work is well underway at Lambcote Meadows and the current build schedule should enable us to hand over the keys to the first residents at the development before the end of the year.”
Lambcote Meadows, which will feature a children’s play area and public green open space, is to consist of 95 new homes for private sale and five affordable starter homes.
As part of the planning agreement for the development, Jones Homes will contribute more than £500,000 towards improving local services.
The developer is to provide £239,495 for additional school places at Maltby Academy, £75,000 for an upgraded control system for the traffic lights at Queens Crossroads, £50,000 towards sustainable local transport and £15,000 for bus stop improvements in the area.
Jones Homes will also be paying approximately £215,000 in the form of a Community Infrastructure Levy to Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. This sum will be invested in improving local infrastructure.
