Jones Homes joins in with Wilmslow’s coronation celebrations
Flags and paper crowns will be handed out at Jones Homes’ sales and information centre in Wilmslow on Sunday 7 May as part of the town’s coronation celebrations.
The homebuilder’s New Homes Information Centre is on Grove Street lies within the heart of the festivities – which are being held the day after the coronation of King Charles III – and will be open to help people take part in the celebrations.
Jones Homes staff will hand out goodie bags for children that will include flags and paper crowns and they will also be providing traditional refreshments such as biscuits.
Sales director for Jones Homes North West, Simon Whalley, said: “When we heard about the town’s coronation event, we knew we had to get involved, especially as our information centre lies within the area where people will be celebrating. Jones Homes has a proud heritage in Wilmslow and has been supporting the local community here for 63 years.
“We will make sure there are plenty of flags to wave and crowns for youngsters to wear. We would love families to pop along and see us on the day and join us for some quintessentially British treats such as cake.”
Wilmslow’s coronation celebrations will take place in Bank Square, Grove Street, Green Lane and Hawthorn Lane between midday and 4pm. Roads have been closed to provide a safe space for families and friends to enjoy music, entertainment, family activities, picnic areas and stalls.
