The Year 4 children planted the time capsule at the stunning development as part of their ‘History of Eccleston’ project, for which the eight and nine year olds researched the rich history of the region.
The burial of the time capsule at Eccleston Grange is also a fitting gesture for Jones Homes, marking the first new build development in the village in more than 10 years.
The children noted down their favourite memories of Eccleston and placed them in the time capsule, which will remain buried at the Eccleston Grange indefinitely.
